Description
For auction is a great condition copy of the legendary and very rare First mono ‘Withdrawn mix’ of The Beatles great album Revolver.
These early copies were quickly withdrawn at Lennon’s request as he wanted a different mix for the record. They are identified by the side 2 matrix XEX 606-1.
Original Parlophone sleeve in excellent condition- all edges and surfaces in great shape.
Original inner sleeve in excellent condition.
Record visually is VG, with scuffs and shallow scratches but nothing deep. Plays as excellent however, as so often with the well made 60’s vinyl. Labels clean and only minor spindle wear. No sticks skips or jumps and only very occasional light crackles. Nothing that interferes with pleasure of listening. Having test played the record again I feel it warrants a VG+ rating, combining the VG visual and the excellent sound.
