Very early 1st West Coast Stereo pressing factory sealed copy of The Beatles’ 7th studio album “Revolver” released by Capitol Records on August 5th, 1966. 1st print Stereo cover with the catalog number ST-2576 and the RIAA “5” factory identifier in the lower right-hand corner of the back side, identifying Capitol Records’ pressing plant in Los Angeles, Hollywood. This copy was pressed no later than 1966, because the RIAA “5” was used from 1963 to 1966. The front cover contains a very rare original yellow oval 3” x 2” "Includes The Beatles' Fabulous "YELLOW SUBMARINE" & "ELEANOR RIGBY"! ST-2576” promotional single hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap, which is fully intact containing original breathe holes on the front and back cover. We’ve thoroughly inspected the sticker and guarantee that it’s 100% original and authentic. We’ve posted the macro photos, clearly showing the offset printing, which isn’t present on fake stickers. This sticker was applied to a very limited number of copies of the album. Interestingly enough, Capitol Records printed these stickers with the Stereo prefix only (ST-2576), but they were applied to Mono covers as well. Since the hype sticker was affixed to the very early copies, it's most likely, this copy contains the 1st print Mono labels with the "Lennon-McCartney" author credits (The later pressings used the authors' full names). Using a strong light source, you can see the original 1st print yellow-gold Capitol Records “Capitol ’66; Sounds Great!” inner sleeve inside through the fully intact shrink wrap at the mouth of the cover. This is another proof of this copy being a very early 1st pressing as the yellow-gold Capitol inner sleeve was used only on the 1st pressing copies of this album. The album is in stunning Mint condition.
