Description
This is an excellent copy of the FIRST UK PRESSING of the Beatles 'Rubber Soul' album. Everything on this copy corresponds with the first item shown on this web page: http://www.yokono.co.uk/collection/beatles/uk/lp/uk_lp_mono_p2.html - SCROLL TO #7 (the content there is not mine, the auction pictures are the item you are bidding on!)
Includes the different spelling of 'Doctor Robert', etc.
Matrix #s Side 1 is XEX 605-2, side 2 is XEX 606-3.
The vinyl is in EX/NM condition (visual grading only) and the back cover has a few small indicators of age (slight discolouring/very minor shelfwear), as well as in the top left hand corner the letter 'D' in pencil, my father's initial, inscribed when he was a boy. A stunning example.
