Recorded on Jan. 29th, 1964. Absolutely different version. No echo effects. Wonderful chorus vocals by
John & George. Paul makes a mistake with some lyrics. Supposed to be THE BEST TAKE!
2. There´s a Place (Take 3, Stereo)*
Recorded on February 11th, 1963. From PLEASE PLEASE ME-session. Intro vocals only.
3. There´s a Place (Take 4, Stereo)*
Continued from Take 3. Absolutely different with no harmonica or piano. Great live performance in the studio!
4. That Means a Lot (Stereo)**
Previously unreleased song. Recorded in Feb. 1965. From 2nd HELP-session. Paul on lead vocals.
5. Day Tripper (I) (Stereo)*
Recorded on Oct. 16th, 1965. Instrumental without tambourine or lead guitar. Absolutely different, supposed
to be the first basic. Not complete.
6. Day Tripper (II) (Stereo)*
Continued from (I). Starting with Paul´s count: 1,2,3,4! Basically same version as the previously released
one, but no additional vocals dubbed by Paul. Not fade-out at the end.
7. I´m the Walrus (Mono)**
Recorded in Sep. 1967, from MAGICAL-sessions. Un-edited & long version without strings, bass guitar,
chorus and backing vocals.
8. Misery (Take 1, Stereo)*
Recorded at Feb. 11th, 1963, from PLEASE PLEASE ME-session. Absoltely different without piano and echo effects.
9. Leave Me Kitten Alone (Mono)*
Previously unreleased song. Recorded on Aug. 5th, 1964, from FOR SALE-session. John on lead vocals.
10. We Can Work It Out (Stereo)**
Recorded on Oct. 20th, 1965. Beginning with Paul´s count: 1,2,3,4! Louder keyboard sound compared to
the well-known version.
11. A Hard Day´s Night (Stereo)*
Recorded on Aril 16th, 1964, from A HARD DAY´S NIGHT-session. Live performance in the Studio. Absolutely
different. No acoustic guitar and piano.
12. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) (Take 4, Stereo)*
Recorded in Oct. 1965, from RUBBER SOUL-sessions. Basically same as the released take, though John
makes a mistake with his acoustic guitar twice in the intro, and says: I SHOWED YA! in the end part. George
Martin replys: GREAT, FINE!. Un-edited version.
