Description

The Beatles- 'RUBBER SOUL'  UK mono 2nd  pressing ***STUNNING NEAR MINT VINYL!***

***Starting on auction here is a VERY RARE BEATLES record, an original MONO pressing of their album from 1966, RUBBER SOUL!!! This original mono mix is certainly the superior sounding version of the album when compared to the original stereo mix, pressed on heavy thick vinyl and also in truely brilliant condition, this is a record which came in as part of a collection which were all in absolutely outstanding condition, extremely well looked after and barely played for the majoritive of them!!!***

***Perhaps the best thing about this copy is the audio as it is stunningly clear and very powerful, showing that it has not been overplayed at all, the vinyl truely is immaculate even when viewed under a desktop lamp, side one is truely almost SPOTLESS without ANY hairlines, side two too is stunning, only when viewed under a very strong light can you see a couple of faint bag removal paperlines but these are truely as faint as you can get, a grading of NEAR MINT would apply to the visual!!! The play too is superb, with absolutley NO distortion and NO jumping, even the final two tracks play outstandingly without any groovewear, The vinyl is still tremendously powerful and VERY clear, with absolutley no distortion, showing how little it has been played, the AUDIO for this LP would easily grade as NEAR MINT MINUS!!! Superbly clear almost immacualte mono sound throught the entire disc!!!!***

***The main sleeve is its correct Garrod and Lofthouse Parlophone sleeve grading as being in EXCELLENT condition!! In truely exceptional condition without ANY corner wear, the ONLY thing that stops this one from grading EX+ is the fact that a very small neat set of initials have been written to the top right corner in what looks to be a felt pen, however these are insignificant when the rest of the sleeve is taken into consideration!! the flipbacks are FIRMLY in place, and are very clean, with no creasing in the laminate bar the odd wrinkle to the edge perhaps!!!!! The inner sleeve is its CORRECT 'EMITEX' advertising inner which too is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition!!!***

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
