Description
THE BEATLES Rubber Soul 1st UK MONO Pressing "Loud Cut"
Originally Released December 3, 1965 on Parlophone
Catalogue number: SMO 2051/52
Ernest J. Day ~ Sleeve.
Matrix Numbers read:
A-side: XEX 579-4
B-side: XEX 580-4
The distinguishing features of the Loud Cut 1st pressing typically show -1/-1, show the left side album side ("1") aligned to the right and have a space after the song name and the " * ". This is -4/-4 but has the right alignment and the " * ". The first pressing loud cut is the only pressing to have this alignment and, more importantly, the " * ", therefore this is almost certainly the loud cut.
Sleeve/Record: VG+/EX
The Ernest J. Day sleeve is in EX condition with some browning on the back but otherwise very nice.
The labels show light spindle markings and are in VG+ condition.
Playing surfaces retain the original glossy sheen with some wear but far from extensive. This plays
Records graded visually as in EX/EX+ condition.
*Record plays FINE/EXCELLENT on both sides, emits a clean sound with no loud/audible background crackles/clicks.
