The Beatles Please Please Me, UK.
This is a fairly rare early stereo copy, technically a 5th press.
Of course the stereo copies of this album are extremely rare and desirable because not many were made compared to the monos.
It's not a black and gold, but it came very soon after, as this album was tweaked and altered several times in the space of just a few months. It probably dates from mid-'63 into 1964, with 'The Parlophone Co' around the label.
So it's a nice early stereo, much more scarce than its mono equivalent.
And it's a nice example.
The sleeve is very good all round, great spine and flipbacks. The record is very good overall. Slight ring wear and just a few light marks to the vinyl - one slightly more pronounced on side 2. But nice and glossy and clean overall. It played through fine.
The emitex inner is original and very good. Just a small split to one side and a little light creasing.
Overall this is a very nice copy of a desirable LP, special because it is a nice early stereo.
