Description
The Beatles - Please Please Me
(Parlophone PMC 1202 UK LP 1963)
This is a UK original 1963 mono pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve - which has a large "mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined Emitex inner sleeve. The record has yellow & black Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co..", & "Recording First..." texts.
The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The mother stampers are RPG 1 1 2 & RPR 0 1 5.
Sleeve: There is some fading to the rear and some rubbing wear. A small name is written on the rear. VG- condition.
Vinyl: Mild to moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. There labels are in very nice condition and show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays very well overall. There is some very light crackle in some of the quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
