The Beatles Please, Please Me/ From Me To You 7" 45 RPM 1964 VJ-581 First Pressing
Rare Audio Matrix/ MR version. Stamped in the deadwax. Very difficult to get a good picture of it but it is there on both sides and can be clearly seen with a magnifying glass. Can be seen in the closeup picture of the From Me To You side (top left).
Record is in very good condition. Quite a few scratches on the deadwax but the playing surface is very minimally marked. Grooves are excellent and you can tell this record has been minimally played. We've had it for several years but have never played it so we cannot attest to the actual sound but judging by the surface, it probably sounds pristine. The label is one of the best I've ever seen on a record of this age, especially considering the artist and type of recording.
Sleeve is overall great. Shows some ringwear and few minor visible tears. The top right corner, top left corner and a very tiny one on the bottom just to the right of Paul McCartney. Also there is separation between the two sides on the right hand side about half way down. Considering what this is and the age of it, it's a miracle that the sleeve even survived and it's in as good of shape as it is.
Disc will be shipped in a generic white sleeve with see through center window.
