This item listed is the ultra collectable Please Please Me LP by the Beatles on the black and gold label. The runs out are 1N/1N. The cover sadly isn’t the original 1st press with the ‘Angus Mcbean’ credit to the far right so please be aware of that face. The cover has quite a lot of wear and tear, has plenty of edgewear and spine wear but Album title still visible. It has a lot of creasing aswell. The top and bottom flipbacks are in poor condition with tape on them, they are heavily worn. Back cover has some staining in places, there’s also some rips here and there. Not a marvellous, original cover but better than no sleeve at all. Vinyl has quite a lot of marks on both sides, with a lot being light scuffs and marks to some visible hairlines and a few deeper feelable scratches and on Side 1 on last track there is a deeper needle groove damage towards end that chases some interference HOWEVER, I played this fully on my player and it plays all the way through with some background noise and crackles/pops/hissing in quieter parts and in between songs, music can still be enjoyed. THIS MAY SKIP on your player though as all players are different so beware. Labels have some visible spindle wear and marks but all writing and logos are still visible. This is a first collectable press on the black and gold label but I wouldn’t recommend this as a archive copy, more of a playing enjoying copy but still, very very hard to get hold of these days. Will be sent Special Guaranteed not Signed For (that’s why postage is high) in a protected mailer with stiffeners on both sides and the record will be separated from sleeve in a plain plastic outer sleeve and the record will be sent in a clean poly lined sleeve.
