It Does NotHave The KT Tax Code On The Label. Comes With A Laminated Front Ernest J Day Cover With The Diagonal Cut Upper And Lower Flaps/Flipback Lips And Large Mono On Front Cover. The Text "Photo: Angus McBean" Credit On The Bottom Front Right Of The Cover Starts Directly Below The "g" In Songs.

Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Good+ (Quite a sharp and clear sound, some audible crackle throughout the tracks, some background noise in between tracks, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, there are some pops and clicks here and there throughout the records but no jumps. Good+ sound quality (Playtested 31st October 2023)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Good (There are a number of superficial hairline surface marks on the record, there are some more feelable hairline scratches on the record but none that seriously affect playback or anything, the records surface has some marks from general use and play, there may be some additional paper traces from the record being put in and out of the inner sleeve under bright light, looks to have been played on lots and lots of occasions by looking at spindle marks but it has been looked after and cared for reasonably well, a reasonably clean record, labels are reasonably clean with no major rips or tears, there is some noticeable some wear around the spindle holes)

Album Cover Grade: Good (no major creasing to the front corners apart from the bottom right front corner, no major creasing to the rear corners, no spine splits, there is some rubbing/wear to the spine, a legible spine, no top edge splits, there is a 5cm bottom edge split though, there is some rubbing/wear to the top edge and the bottom edge, there are two small 1cm tears in the sleeve on the bottom flipback lip which has caused half of the flipback lip to become separated from the sleeve, some corner rubbing, some very slight ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, the sleeve has discolouration and slight staining on the unlaminated rear sleeve, a sturdy sleeve, no writing or pen marks on the sleeve, overall a G sleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

GRADING SYSTEM BELOW

MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
