Pressing: MEGA RARE 3rd STEREO Pressing On The Black Label With The Yellow Parlophone Logo And Silver Print (With The Parlophone Co Ltd Printed At The Start Of The Perimeter Text But "Without Recording First Published 1963". The Label Does Not Have The Small 33 1/3 Prefix On The Left Hand Side Of The Label. It Does Have The MT Tax Code On Side 2 Of The Label. Comes With A Laminated Front Ernest J Day Cover With The Diagonal Cut Upper And Lower Flaps/Flipback Lips And Large Stereo On Front Cover. The Text "Photo: Angus McBean" Credit On The Bottom Front Right Of The Cover Starts Directly Below The "g" In Songs.

Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Fair (Quite a sharp and clear sound, only very slight noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks, quite quiet and not much noticeable background noise in between tracks, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, there are some audible clicks per revolution on a taste of honey and theres a place as a result of a quite deep feelable scratch running across the last three tracks on side 2. The scratch is the reason it has been graded fair and not good. The scratch does not cause the record to jump or skip or stick on my project audio 1 turntable and I have played it 3 times to check. Fair sound quality (Playtested 26th March 2021)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Fair (There are lots of noticeable hairline surface marks on the record, there are some raised more feelable hairline scratches on the record and one in particular on side 2 which is quite deep and causes some audible clicks per revolution on the last two or three songs on side 2, the records surface has quite a number of hairline marks from general use and play, looks to have been played on lots of occasions by looking at spindle marks but it has been looked after and cared for reasonably well, labels are reasonably clean with no rips or tears, there is some very noticeable wear around the spindle holes, decent sheen to the record, once again this would have been graded good if not for the feelable scratch on side 2)

Album Cover Grade: Very Good (no major creasing to the front corners, no major creasing to the rear corners, no spine splits, there is some very slight rubbing/wear to the spine, a legible spine, no top edge splits, no bottom edge splits, there is some slight rubbing/wear to the top edge and the bottom edge, there are no major rips/tears in the sleeve, some corner rubbing, some very slight ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, the sleeve is reasonably clean and only has slight discolouration/staining on the unlaminated rear sleeve, a sturdy sleeve, no writing or pen marks on the sleeve, no serious laminate peeling/lifting, overall a VG sleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

GRADING SYSTEM BELOW

MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
