Description
The Beatles Collection (‘The Blue Box’) no. BC 13. All English pressings by Parlophone and Apple Records.
All photos, inserts, etc. are intact and included. (The 'White Album', 'Abbey Road', 'Let It Be' and 'Rarities' are part of the set but not pictured due to the 12 photo limit.)
‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ was on a (B&O 5000) turntable one time. The other 12 discs are untouched, untracked.
There is a slight split (about an inch) in the top of the ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ cover. The case shows some light wear on a few of the corners, primarily from moving it around from house to house over 35 years.
Overall, this set is in very near mint condition.
This is NOT one of the serial-numbered sets.
My wife (an absolutely ace researcher) has found documentation that says this set was produced sometime between October 1980 and April 1984, based on the perimeter print on the record labels. I purchased the set new within those dates.
NOTE: In answer to a question I received, none of the individual record sleeves have UPC bar-codes on the back.
