The Fabulous Four

The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME Album. Parlophone LP produced 1963 this is a first pressing MONO LP PMC 1202. Matrix nos XEX-421/XEX-422 on Parlophone yellow and black label. Inner sleeve is original and has discolouration and two tears, outer sleeve slight discolouration and wear on edges, two corners slightly torn but not all the way through, it has a Christian name in faint biro on front at the top. The label has spindle marks no writing/pen marks etc. Vinyl has a good shine with some surface marking and a couple of scratches. I am sure that a laser cleaner would benefit the LP. I have played it this week after storage of 40 years! It plays well and on using 'High' surround sound its very good. On 'Low' surround it does have background noise (slight). Played on a Sony player with new diamond stylus. A definite trip down memory lane! The marks on the photo (label) are camera flash.

Rare first pressing so would be a fantastic collectors LP. This was much loved and played in the mid sixties, then stored and not played until now.
