Description

The Beatles. Meet The Beatles. 1964 Jamaican Capitol. Uber Rare 1 Of Only 500. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

I have here an ultra Rare Beatles Stereo album pressed in Jamaica on Capitol. Only 2 have ever surfaced on Popsike. (check it out) and NEVER come up for sale on Discogs.
Hard to find any information on it as it is so rare.

The record was only 1 of 500 pressed. With it being Stereo it makes it even more Scarce.
Story has it that they were unsure of how many would sell so they only pressed 500 records but used the USA sleeve.

Record is very good, plays lovely, has a few crackles
Shines nice see photos) but has some wear and marks. No skips, jumps

Matrix no.
T- 2047 1 (T-X-1- 2047) (Dead wax run out ST1 - 2047 A)
T- 2047 2 (T-X-2- 2047) (Dead wax run out ST2 - 2047 X2)

Labels are nice, but with some wear. Strangely has USA Mono matrix number but clearly says Stereo on the label
The Capitol sign is on the left as opposed to the top, and pressed in Jamaica is written on the top (see photos)

The sleeve is the Scranton LA one Stereo.
Has some tape around all 3 edges and some ring wear.

Taken from DISCOGS site: 500 copies produced. Cover imported from the United States, but vinyl pressed in Jamaica. Label has the Capital "Sword" design, with text "RECORD PRESSED IN JAMAICA FROM A CAPITOL RECORDS, INC. U.S.A. RECORDING" and a T-2017 catalog number (T-X-1-2047 code on label).

This is holy grail of albums. Just how many are left is unknown

I also have Something New on Jamaican Capitol coming on very soon, Which has NEVER come up for sale, check Popsike. Discogs don't even have a listing of it
