The Beatles - Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You 7" Single 1962

First edition with red label and silver writing, 'no' 'Made in Great Britain' text, and no 'sold in the UK' text, 'P.T.' Tax code stamped on the label next to the spindle hole on side two, earliest possible matrix numbers, and first edition 'type A' company sleeve.

Vinyl is in 'excellent'- condition, only some very, very light usage marks, plays great. Labels have a name written on both sides, and a sticker with '274' and a name written underneath (please see photos)

Company 'type one' sleeve is in 'very good' to 'excellent' condition, no names or unwanted writing, and only a small amount of general wear.

Still a very nice copy of this very sought after 1st Beatles single record.

I try to be as accurate as possible with my grading of the records, based on the guide in the Record Collector book, but occasionally peoples perception of a record are very different. In this case if the record is far removed from the discription I put, then I will give a full refund.

In other words if I have'nt put 'Mint' or 'Excellent' then it is'nt.!!!

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deteriation in sound quality, despite slight surface marks andthe occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor/Bad : Forget it!!!!!
