The Beatles – Love Me Do, 1962 7” Parlophone R 4949.
This is a decent example of Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You by The Beatles. It was released on the Parlophone label in 1962 – R 4949– and is in a strong VG+ condition. The matrix numbers end in 1N. The are no raised tax-code letters on either label but the stamper numbers read MP ZT 1 on each side. On the a-side the letters in the three o’clock position are GH and on the right side they are GT. On the b-side there are two slight ‘cloudy’ areas on the playing surface that do not affect play at all. A name is written on the a-side label.
