This 1st-class, 100% original & complete UK box set dates from initial May 1970 release on Apple Records: PXS 1*

A lavish 164-page soft-back book with photographs by Ethan A. Russell with text by Jonathan Cott & David Dalton.

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the red Apple logo on the rear panel and original plain white 'Patent No.1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
This 100% complete set also includes the rare, original Apple Records catalogue poster.
* The 'PXS 1' catalogue number did not appear anywhere on the package but was for ordering purposes only.
CONDITION
Slipcase: EXCELLENT +
This superb example is clean & glossy and has held its shape with with no crushing to either upper or lower ends. The front panel has a superb high-gloss finish with on traces of storage and no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or creasing. All of the exposed edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering. The only signs of wear on the entire case are a few tiny indentations on the rear from storage.
Outer Tray: EXCELLENT
This easily damaged tray is presented here in very respectable shape. The fold-over flaps have a few light creases with light rubbing to the exposed edges but there are no tears to any part.
Inner Tray: EXCELLENT +
This fragile component has survived fully intact with just very small stresses to two inner corners but no tears. It still retains its shape and is not squashed or detached at any point.
Book: EXCELLENT +
A fine example of this lavish publication with clean, high-gloss gloss panels with just a touch of storagewear but no ceasing or 'thumbnails' to the front and rear of the jacket. There is slight wear to the rear edge of the top and bottom spine edges but the spine itself is 'uncracked' and all pages are present with none missing or loose. This copy has just the basic 10-line credits on page 8 and no pasted addendum.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
An outstanding set with some light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole, but less than a handful on 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are clean and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. Apart from 2 light 5mm marks on side 1, both side are 'as new' both in storng dalyight AND directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: MINT -
Played with care on quality equipment only, the sound is clean & unworn throughout with just a little low-level vinyl background on the run-ins and bands between tracks but no groove/playwear, crackle, clicks, pops or any other such distractions.
Cover: MINT -
A superb clean & strong example which retains a clean, unworn high-gloss laminate with no creasing or 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is a tiny rub to the lower left corner but all are unbumped and square. Both opening edges are also sharp and completely. Both seams and the spine are fully intact.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Poster: EXCELLENT +
Unhung & factory-folded with 3 small age-spots to the rear, one of which is visible to the front.
