This is indeed a MONO copy of the 1970 12-track "Let It Be" album that was only ever issued in that format in Brazil. The album comes with unique design Apple labels with Portuguese text, all housed in a superb unique poly-lined wraparound picture sleeve variant with red apple on the back. The vinyl on this copy shows only light surface marks. Black die cut inner sleeve is a bit tattered. Catalog no. BTL-1.013, matrix no. xex-773 side one, and xex-774 side two. The mastering on this LP is excellent, nice bass, midrange, and highs. The vinyl is Very Good and is very quiet. This mix seems to diminish the "Spector" effect somewhat. The mono releases always used the Brazilian numbering system only. The first apple label has the print around the rim of the label in cursive (script).[at auction here] Later on, the rim print was changed to a block printed style, by that time the Brazilian catalog number had been removed.

This version of "Let It Be" is virtually unfindable. Finding a retail price (approx. $95.00 USD in this condition) took a couple of hours. There is very little information about this pressing available. Most of the online print about this LP, it's origin and pressing is FALSE. I ended up calling a very well informed and respected retailer in the UK and they gave me the information and also offered 45 Pounds for this copy~~~~~~
The COVER looks Very Good and isn't damaged or written on. The INNER SLEEVE (black die-cut original)is worse for the years and a bit tattered. The record is in a replacement poly-lined white sleeve. Most important; the RECORD is in Very Good condition as well. Some marks but nothing to seriously detract from overall quality. Plays well.
John Lennon: vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, lap steel guitar, bass guitar, organ, whistlingPaul McCartney: vocals, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, electric piano, Hammond organ, maracas, whistlingGeorge Harrison: vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, tambura, maracasRingo Starr: drums, percussion, svaramandalGeorge Martin: Hammond organ, shakerBilly Preston: Hammond organ, electric pianoLinda McCartney: backing vocalsUncredited: 18 violins, four violas, four cellos, harp, three trumpets, three trombones, two guitarists, tenor saxophone, 14 choristers
A Word About ConditionThe condition of a record is all-important as to determining its value. The values shown are drastically reduced for lesser condition copies, as shown below:Near Mint, or NM, condition records are unscratched. If the label has stickers or tape, this must be noted. Essentially, they look like they just came from the store.Very Good Plus, or VG+, condition records will have very few scratches. Without close inspection, they might pass for Near Mint copies. A VG+ record normally sells for half what a NM copy goes for.Very Good, or VG, condition records have a fair amount of scratches, but they by no means appear "beat up". A VG condition record normally sells for one fourth of the NM price.Very Good Minus, or VG-, condition records are starting to appear quite scratched. Still, when played, they play through, although the surface noise is becoming distracting. Many singles are commonly found in this condition. A VG- condition record normally sells for one sixth of the NM price.Good, or G, condition records look scratched--basically all over, but they'll play through well enough to enjoy the song. A G condition record sells for one tenth of the NM price. [Some dealers also use a grade of G+, which sells for one eighth of the NM price.]Fair, or fr, condition records are generally worthless unless the record is rare. They're scratched up and have distracting surface noise, but they're not completely ruined. No chips missing, and not cracked. They sell for one twentieth of the NM price or less.Poor, or pr, condition records are basically ruined. They may be warped, cracked, chipped, or otherwise unsuitable for collecting. Most collectors only accept poor condition copies of something really rare until a better one comes along. They're virtually worthless.
