Description

THIS IS VERY HEAVY SET, SO PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE! Hello. I've been collecting records for 20 years now (mainly original 1960's-1970's Prog, Psych, Beat & Jazz albums) and now I've decided to sell them all! As you can see from my pictures, I've lots of records for sale, so add me to your favorite sellers list and get great records in near future! All my auctions will start at £0,99 with NO reserve, so grab a bargain. My seller feedback is 100% positive, so you can bid with confidence. Grading a record is always very hard, as everyone got their own grading system. I always check my records under a critical light so there won’t be any surprises (many sellers don’t do this), so I will see even the lightest hairlines and sleeve removal lines which you won’t see in normal room light. I’m a collector myself, so I do my best to be honest with my grading. Please see my grading system in the bottom of this page. I DO NOT ship to RUSSIA! Thanks for reading everything and happy bidding!!!

What I have for sale here is:

Artist: The Beatles
Title: Let it Be
Label: Apple
Cat#: PCS 7096
Made in: England (1970)

Description: Here I have the original 1970 12 track FIRST ISSUE UK Apple ‘LET IT BE’ Stereo LP on the Dark Green Apple Label, with ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and with ‘An EMI Recording’ and ‘Mfd in the UK’ printed to both record labels. This UK manufactured box set was designed by John Kosh. Matrices are YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U. The LP is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve displaying the RED Apple Logo to the Reverse of the Sleeve, and printed ‘An EMI Recording’ beneath the Red Apple. Comes with its original plain white 'Patent no. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve. Also this box set includes 'GET BACK' 164-page book with photographs by Ethan A. Russell, outer tray and extremely rare INNER TRAY (where you can place the book) which is usually missing or in really bad shape…

Condition: G+/EX (Record/Cover) EX (Book) EX- (Outer Slipcase) EX- (Outer Tray) VG+ (Inner Tray)
Record has harmless sleeve removal lines here and there, but nothing deep at all! Could be easily at least VG+ visually, but unfortunately record is not flat! There's a small warp which makes the needle jump at the first tracks (half way) on BOTH sides! Rest of the record plays ok with occasional background noise here and there! Laminated cover is in nice condition with light signs of use! Book is also in great shape, the only problem is that the glue has come off a little bit in the middle so needs more glue and this should be easy to do. Other than that book looks superb and all pages are still there. Outer slipcase has some general wear, NO tears etc. Outer tray has some wear on seams, but no splits etc. Inner tray has couple tears, but still in good condition for its age...

Grading (Record):
This is my grading system. I’m very strict when grading a record. Mostly my VG+ grade is most sellers EX. Also, I don’t use VG+++ or EX+++++ like some sellers do…

NM (NEAR MINT)
This is highest grade that I will assign to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a few hairline scratches but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Might have a light click or two, but NO skips or jumps. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections but otherwise clean.

Grading (Cover):

NM (NEAR MINT)
Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

EX (EXCELLENT)
Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+ (VERY GOOD+)
Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

Payment by Paypal or bank transfer (IBAN).

If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Please see my other auctions for great records…
