Description
I am selling more BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED RECORDS from my own collection. Please check my other auctions, too.
In this auction:
· “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” by The Beatles
· This is Vee Jay Records VJLP SR 1062.
· It is a RARE Vee Jay STEREO PRESSING of this LP.
· It was issued beginning in February, 1964.
· This is Version 2 of this LP with column back cover and includes the cuts “Ask Me Why” and “Please, Please Me” that replaced “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” which were on Version 1 of this LP.
· The LABELS are BLACK with PERIMETER COLOR BAND and VEE JAY BRACKETS LOGO.
· The LABELS have “STEREO” printed on the right of each label under “SIDE 1” and “SIDE 2”.
· BOTH COVER and VINYL ARE ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC! How do we know? Here are the identifiers:
1) The cover has George’s shadow and VEE JAY RECORDS spine printing.
2) The labels have “THE BEATLES” printed above the spindle hole.
3) The vinyl has the Monarch Records logo (combined M and R in a circle) stamped in the trail-off on both sides.
So you can bid with confidence that you are receiving the real deal and not a counterfeit Stereo Vee Jay LP.
· The FRONT COVER has a “STEREOPHONIC” banner across the top.
· The COVER is in WEAK VG CONDITION. There is light to moderate wear on the front cover slick primarily in the center as you can see in the images. There are some light horizontal creases near the spine. The rear cover slick has had some repairs at the bottom right and bottom left corners. (The repairs are rather decent; check the image.) There is some wear and flaking on the top and bottom seams. There is some cracking on the top and bottom seams with some paper loss. The bottom seam has 2 areas with a total of about 6 ½ inches of baldness. The top seam has about 6 inches of scattered baldness along the seam. There is heavy wear on the corners that has caused some rounding. There are NO SEAM SPLITS.
· The VINYL is in STRONG G+ to VG MINUS CONDITION. There are numerous light to moderate surface hairlines/scuffs. There are also about 3 or 4 scuffs that are “feelable”, so there will likely be some moderate audible distraction when playing. The vinyl is still quite glossy! The LABELS have some wear mostly on the Side 1 label.
· This LP comes with its ORIGINAL VEE JAY PAPER INNER SLEEVE that has 4-5-inch splits on the sides, a small repaired tear and some “tattering” at the top opening.
YOU KNOW HOW RARE AUTHENTIC BEATLES STEREO VEE JAY LPs ARE IN ANY Condition! Maybe you are lacking one in your vinyl collection?
