ALBUMS OF SIGNIFICANT INTEREST" BY
OTHER VEE-JAY ARTISTS SUCH AS JIMMY REED

THE BEATLES ~ INTRODUCING THE BEATLES

RARE COVER WITH THE "PRINTED IN U.S.A."
TEXT IN THE LOWER LEFT HAND CORNER

? ? ?

Mega rare copy of Introducing the Beatles, so-called "Ad" cover, having on the back a paste over slick with twenty five "Other fine albums of significant interest" by

other Vee-Jay artists. The front cover has a rare "Printed in U.S.A." text in the lower left hand corner. Version 1 including the tracks "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You." The cover is graded as Excellent Minus due to some light discoloration, age spots and tape residue at the bottom of the back cover. Some light wear on the corners, a few creases and light shelf wear. The cover doesn't have any splits, ring wear or writing. The baggy is in great condition, but has a three inch split along the top right edge and corner wear. 1st press Very Good Plus deep groove blacks labels with an outer rim color band, the oval logo and "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You." The vinyl pressed by the American Record Pressing Co. in Owosso, Michigan has the AudioMatrix and date stamp in the runout: Side 1 - 63-3402 AudioMatrix 6-24-63 ARP A; Side 2 - 63-3403 AudioMatrix 6-24-63 ARP A. The vinyl is graded as somewhere in between strong Very Good and Very Good Plus having light hairlines and scuffs from the original Vee-Jay paper inner sleeve that comes with the album. Nevertheless, the hairlines and scuffs don't affect the playback much and I'd grade the audio on this record as Excellent. It has some light background noise during the quiet passages once in a while, but sounds very clear overall without any skips or pops.
