Offered is: The Beatles In Hamburg. This is a Brown Splash vinyl example! The record is housed in an Orient Records company "sandwich" sleeve. (SEE PICS)
It is not often when one can state a Beatles LP is unique. This is one of those rare occasions. This Beatles In Hamburg LP is on the Orient Record label, STEREO, RT-5196. This is the very first time this particular album has been offered on E-Bay.
I've spoken with three Beatles records experts and have received varying opinions on this one of a kind LP. One suggests the album is from Thailand. The second says this example could be Chinese or Korean. The third opinion, and the one I value most because of his experience, has South Vietnam as the country of origin. He thinks the album was released in 1967 or 1968 at the height of the war in Vietnam. All three state that they have never seen this particular Beatles LP before!
MADE IN GERMANY is found in the run out indicating the German machine parts were used on this issue.
