THE BEATLES - 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND'/'THIS BOY'
This exceptionally rare pressing of their late-1963 hit comes from a tiny batch of solid centred discs pressed by EMI in 1969.
The disc has 1963 1st pressing labels which omit the 'Sold in The UK..' text and have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd' rims.
Some solid centred discs were pressed by Oriole in 1963, but this is without doubt a 1969 EMI product.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17559-1N & 7XCE 1760-1N
Stamper codes: 18/MLR & 19/LA
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs.
Housed within its original, correct-type green/white 'swirl' Parlophone company cover.

A clean & undamaged pair showing just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual/Audio: VERY GOOD +Both playing surfaces are clean bearing a few light surface marks and hairlines which do not affect play. The disc has received little play and 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' sounds fresh and clean with no groove/play wear or any audible distractions. 'This Boy' plays with some light background but without any major faults.
