Description
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic 1970 US First Day Pressing of The Beatles’ compilation album, Hey Jude. This copy is a textbook example of the famous last-minute manufacturing transition scramble by Capitol/Apple Records, featuring the highly sought-after mismatched catalog numbers and the pre-release album title.
The jacket is beautifully preserved in its original open shrink wrap, complete with a vintage retail price sticker, offering excellent protection over the decades while allowing the vinyl to be safely accessed.
Pressing Details & Collector Indicators

Vinyl Label Catalog #: SO-385 (The rare, initial price-code run printed before the last-minute price drop)
Vinyl Label Title: Explicitly reads "The Beatles Again" on both sides of the green Apple label, catching the eleventh-hour title change before it was officially rebranded to Hey Jude
