Description
For sale is a complete and original STEREO UK 1st pressing of The Beatles fifth studio album, Songs from the film "Help!".
This copy comes with the original front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve with mid-sized, outline 'STEREO' text to the front side. The vinyl has the original black label with yellow Parlophone logo and silver text. The album is complete with the original polythene lined die-cut Emitex 'protect your records' inner sleeve.
On side 2 the MT tax code can be seen embossed on the label rather than KT. MT tax code was phased out in 1963 so this is undoubtedly an extremely rare label error.

Condition:
Vinyl: EXCELLENT-
Visually the vinyl is glossy and clean. Only a handful of subtle marks can be picked up. The labels are bright, clean and without writing. VERY GOOD +. The audio is superb! There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and no noise in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy bass. There are no pops, skips or jumps. EXCELLENT.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The sleeve looks great. The front retains a glossy finish with bright colours. The rear is very clean. There is no ring wear, fully readable spine without wear, top and bottom edge without wear, and corners with very mild wear.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT
The original polythene lined die-cut inner sleeve looks great. It is very clean, has minimal discolouration and shows only minor creasing. Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
This record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
