Description

YES! The original Beatles Help! LP with Shell cover. This is NOT a reissue or bootleg which we see more often these days. This the original, issued in 1979 and given away to managers and staff from Shell in the Netherlands and Sweden. About 2000 were made in total. There are 2 versions of this rare gem of the Beatles: Dutch cover and Dutch pressed LP, and Dutch cover and Sweden pressed LP. This is the slightly rarer version with the LP pressed in Sweden. Labels are in English.

Matrix side 1: YEX 168-2 PCS 3071 A

Condition cover:

Very good (to near mint) with no tears or rips. On the bottom front (see picture) a visual line which looks like tape has been removed, but no damage at all. May be this can be cleaned, but I don’t know that.

Condition record:

Side 1 has a really strange mark on it (till the 3rd song) but it does not affect play at all! It plays beautifully. I’ve been told that some lp’s left the factory with these kind of marks. There is also a schratch on song 5 and 6, but you can only hear this between the songs and not during. It does not pop or jump.

Side 2: This side is near mint; no signs of usage at all.

Both labels are also very good and clean. Only the hole has signs of usage.

ATTENTION: Shippingcosts are not 4 pounds! This is what the ebayform says. I can't ship to Europe or USA for 4 pounds.

I only send this LP with registered mail because of the value. You'll understand! If you want full insurance ask for the rates because this is much more expensive.

Because of a recent bad experience with the post (cover damaged and postcompany give me a hard time with paying me a refund) I CANNOT be held responsible for loss or any damage in the post. Sorry! This was the first time for me something got damaged in the post so the chance of that happening is little.
