Condition - EX/EX(The record only has a few scratches. Side 2, only has 1 scratch that i can even see.   No scuffing. Very nice clean copy.  Very little surface noise (see audio below). Sounds incredible on my turntable.  The sleeve is in really good shape.  A little discoloring, but that's it. There is NO splitting. )

My goal is to sell you quality vinyl records. 

All my records are inspected under a 100 watt light, Cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, then placed in a Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MSFL) Inner Sleeve.  I then record it to my computer using a Project Expression Turntable With a Sumiko Cartridge, to give you a better idea of the sound quality of the vinyl. No changes have been made to the sound. The You tube video is below. 

When I take pictures of the records, I try to take pictures of the worst aspects of it.  I would rather show you the scratches/scuffs, rather then what most sellers do; take a picture of the vinyl which usually shows the sheen of the record, and not the actual condition.

I usually concentrate the majority of my time on the record itself.  Obviously that is the part, you will be using to the most.  I do grade the cover, but not as particular on the grade as I am with the record itself.CHECK OUT MY OTER

Below are my grading standards.

NEAR MINT- or NM- : This record appears to be played very little, if not at all. Very minor scuffing and NOTHING little else can appear on the vinyl.  It should play without ANY noise.  The cover looks to be new, with only minor issues due to age of the cover. The artwork should be bright and sharp.  I will very rarely grade records in this condition.  Lets face it, usually it never came out of the pressing plant like this.   

EXCELLENT or EX: minor scuffs and scratches which is really only visible under the light. There may not be more than a few scuffs and/or light Scratches. The vinyl still has a great luster.  When played, there should only be very little surface noise.  (crackles, pops, ect). Some will be evident between tracks. But take into consideration, different stylus's will pick up more noise, between tracks.  The labels should be bright and very little ,if any spindle wear .The Cover is still  close to perfect. Some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear). Some creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. No seam splits, writing on the cover, or taped repairs.

VERY GOOD PLUS or VG+:  Shows flaws to the naked eye. Still has it original luster/sheen. LIGHT SCRATCHING OR SCUFFING IS MORE EXTENSIVE. When played, the surface noise should not overpower the music in anyway.  More noise will be evident between tracks though.  The cover will show more aging.  The white paper will be somewhat yellow yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some wear to the seams or spine, but no splitting. flaking will be evident.

VERY GOOD or VG: This record will have more scuffs/scratches.  luster/sheen will be not as evident.  It will STILL play all the way through.  There will be some surface noise when the music is playing, but shouldn't overpower the music. A VG record will appear to have been played but not abused. VG covers will look worn, used. There may be a some seam splitting . There will be ring wear. It will look aged and more yellowish due to storage.
