These Beatleboards as they came to be known were offered in 1964 when the Owner Ray McFall replaced the small stage within The Cavern the money going to the Charity Oxfam as detailed in the letter.Provenance is hugely important for these items and this is as good as it gets !The original mailing envelope with stamp dated postmarked Liverpool + corresponding with address on letter signed in ink by McFall`s Secretary Ann Haugh.So this is indeed part of the Stage at The Cavern Mathew St Liverpool where The Beatles sweated it out for 292 performances between 1961-1963.5" x 4" is the Size of The Stage included with card stuck to front.The letter apologies for delay in sending and trusts the Girl to forward a Postal Order for 5/- on receipt of the "Beatleboard" So there we go with the cast iron provenance this has you can sleep easy at night knowing you have a genuine piece of The Cavern Club Stage which was surprisingly small.
