CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

Both are clean & vibrant with some faint spindle trails and slight wear to each centre hole together with a tiny area of missing paper on side 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are as new/MINT & unmarked in strong daylight with nothing more than one or two faint inner-sleeve removal marks upon close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. The disc has a slightly uneven edge when playing but this does not affect sound or play in any way.

Play: NEAR MINT

Incredible mono sound quality from the original 1st generation German master-tapes. For example, the bass on 'Cry For A Shadow' is truly amazing - deep and rich and superior to any other pressing or format I have experienced. All tracks play perfectly cleanly and clearly with no trace of any groove/play wear or any clicks, pops or other such distraction. In fact, apart from a touch of normal/light background between tracks, there is very little to fault here. This is without doubt the best sounding source for all these superbly-recorded gems and will not disappoint.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

A strong and vibrant example which apart from some minor storagewear issues, has little going against it. The front panel is clean & bright with a few speckles of missing paper to the right of the Polydor logo. There is also a little wear to the opening edge but the corners are in overall excellent shape. The rear panel is clean & bright with just a hint of storage rubbing but no major marks or any writing or missing paper. All seams are fully intact and the spine is square and fully worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with a little age-toning but creasing, writing, tears or seam splits.
