This incredible sounding UK 1st pressing dates from initial August 1966 release on the sold centred Parlophone label: R 5493
The 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the 'Eleanor Rigby' label & in both run-outs.
Matrices: 7XCE 18395-1 & 7XCE 18396-1
Stamper codes: 1/RPG & 4/RLG
Housed in its original & correct green & white Parlophone sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: MINT
A perfect pair with no spindle marks on either label.
Visual: MINT -
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of wispy marks directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: MINT -
This superb sounding copy plays flawlessly with none of the crackle or break-up usually found on this track disc. Aside from 2 light ticks on the 'Eleanor Rigby' run-in, these outstanding mono mixes never sounded better.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with no writing, tears or seam splits.
