This auction is for a mega rare Beatles 'All You Need is Love' Shell Oil Company promotional poster from 1969..... Purchased recently in Belgium from a collector of car/petrol related items, This Dutch made promo poster was printed by Perfecta in Brussels Belgium in 1969, and is marked as such in the bottom left corner. It is also dated copyright 1969 by King Features Subafilms Limited in the bottom left corner, one of the few original Beatles Yellow Submarine items made in the 1960s and dated 1969; most Yellow Submarine items are dated 1968!! The Shell logo is also correct to the period....The poster measures 21" x 15" and is in excellent near mint condition, sharp corners (see photos) poster is folded as it was when sent out by the factory and will be sent folded and protected well......The poster has vivid colours and amazing graphics showing the Beatles as their Yellow Submarine characters with the slogan 'Love is all you need' also has the great 'All you need is shell' text along the bottom...This is the second known Beatles promotional item made by Shell, the other being the highly collectable 'Help' Lp which has the shell logo on the cover and the Beatles in front of it....This is only the second one of these I have seen so don't miss out on the chance of adding this amazing vintage Beatles item to your collection.
