All bought/acquired (as birthday gifts etc) new within a year or so after their original release dates;

 

Singles Collection 1982   (includes Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You color/pic disc!)  (original MONO mixes)

(LP) Collection 1987  (all original STEREO U.K. versions)

EP Collection 1981 (includes RARE Stereo EP and Stereo Magical Mystery Tour)

 

These are the original vinyl boxed sets-  the LPs are all in their inner sleeves (or in most cases never removed) and the Singles Collection INCLUDES the Love Me Do/Please Please Me 7" color vinyl picture disc!

 

All will be packed in an oversized box with crumple zones etc and INSURED!!

 

Stored out of sunlight and from a smoke and pet free home.

 

The singles collection has an original blue insert with all the release dates etc (including 1976-1982 releases)

The LPs Collection has all the inserts for the "White" album; 4 photos and poster

 

Pics are part of the description- Vinyl is mint (most never removed)-   box covers are vivid blue and with gold lettering with box top flaps intact, SEE all pics for great details and just ask for any more details or pictures- eBay messages allow 5 pics as attachments and I took many more photos than the 12 available here!

 

A "side view" of the stacked 12" albums (LPs) shows the Sgt Pepper cover/sleeve printed side (spine) apparently upside down. This album is correctly placed in the stack (in chronological order) and with it's classic front facing up/forward. It is a RARE flaw in the printing of this particular album cover that it is backwards/upside down. As you can see in the picture, all the other album sides are correctly printed.

From memory, the only vinyl I EVER recall playing from any of these sets were;

Love Me Do (black single in pic sleeve, not the color vinyl) (single- to compare Ringo's version to the more common (then) Alan White drum version), Magical Mystery Tour E.P.'s (to compare E.P. Stereo quality to LP etc), the special Stereo E.P. with the 4 never-released versions.

I received the LP Collection as a gift in the late 80's, but it was redundant since I aquired the Beatles Half Speed Masters LP set from MFSL in 1982 or 83, and I had many of the U.K. CD's or LPs anyway.

I've always been more interested in alternate mixes, rarities and good reproduction no matter the source etc than the "collectable" aspect of Beatles items, and while I will never sell my Half Speed Masters, all the digital availability nowdays makes these items spare (and they have been stored, never "displayed") and allows me to be able to sell these 3 together to a lucky bidder, and downsize the household.

A1. Originally this was issued as the 'B' side of the single 'Lady Madonna' in 1968. However, this is the first time the track has been released in stereo.
 
A2. Released in mono in 1967 as the 'B' side of 'All you need is love', this stereo version has only appeared on the UK cassette of 'Magical Mystery Tour' and on the German issue of the 'Magical Mystery Tour' album.
 
B1 This stereo track was originally issued in mono as the 'B' side of 'I feel fine' in 1964. It is only available in stereo on an Australian album and was recently included in the box set compilation 'The Beatles Box' issued by World Records.

info from Discogs- I have not corrected their track ID coding/system in this case (I did for the EP and Singles lists above).

For this eBay description only (not printed on the discs this way) each album SIDE is a different letter of the alphabet; Please Please Me (LP) Side 1 is A and  Side 2 is B. Then each track is listed 1 thru (usually) 7  for each sides' songs.  With the double "White" album and all the short tracks on Abbey Road, it results in Side 2 of Let It Be being Z4,  Z5 for the last two tracks. The coding starts again with AA for the Rarities LP.

Again these  l o n g  track lists and other info are provided for those who might not know the contents of the discs etc, and it was helpful for me to verify accurate release dates and record/release numbers etc.
