Description
Up for auction is the The Beatles Collection 14-LP vinyl box set (famously known as the Blue Box). This is the rarer German pressing of the albums (as opposed to the more common UK pressings). Some of the album covers are notably different from the UK or US releases. Catalog# is 1C 198-53 163-176.
Box is a bit tattered with a rip on the front right side and is missing the flap (as shown on the 3rd picture), otherwise it is in good, functional condition.
Vinyl jackets vary from Very Good to Mint condition. The White Album is numbered (embossed) and contains all photos and the poster (all in Mint condition).
Vinyl records look unplayed.
Some audiophiles prefer the German pressings for their punchier, more bassy sound. This can be heard on their later albums like Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, White Album and Abbey Road.
