THE BEATLES COLLECTION (November 1978 - EMI/Parlophone BC 13)
This is the Australian version which is based on the UK edition, but contains the Australian edition of "Beatles For Sale" which features different cover art to the UK versions. As the recordings were mastered by Parlophone Australia, the versions of "She's A Woman", "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand" and "This Boy" on the "Rarities" disc differ from the UK version in that they are true stereo versions.
As this collection is 37 years old, the box cover itself has sustained damage over the years and is in poor condition, but it has served it's purpose of protecting the albums within, so the individual covers are in very good condition with some wear and slight yellowing due to their age. The discs themselves appear to be in near-perfect condition. They have literally not been played since the late 1980's and show no visible signs of wear.
The "White" album contains the lyric sheet and photo inserts.
The disk labels are the black/silver Parlophone versions except for Sgt Peppers which has the orange Parlophone label.
