Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the ' The Beatles ' 1964 release ' Beatles for Sale'.
The record is a first issue UK stereo pressing on the yellow and black Parlophone labels.
Cat no PCS 3062 The matrix side 1: YEX 142-1 stampers 1 GT side 2: YEX 143-1 stampers 4RM
Grading :
I've played both sides of the record. Visually the record is glossy and under light with the odd wispy mark The record produces a very bright sound with little or no surface noise and almost silence between tracks and just the odd non obtrusive pop. Grade EX. It's also housed in it's original EMITEX cover which is also EX.
The front laminated gatefold cover is in VG+ condition. The odd handling crease and some minor wear around the extremities. The spine is strong though and very little paper loss at the ends which is very common for this flimsy cover. Please see photo's for more information.
