Description

The Beatles - Beatles For Sale (UK Vinyl LP Mono Early Pressing PMC 1206 3N/4N)

Early UK Mono Vinyl LP. Black & Yellow Parlophone label with perimiter rim copyright text beginning "The Parlophone Co Lts" and the text "Recording First Published 1964" above the side indicator numeral.

Embossed KT tax code on the Side 2 label.

Laminated gatefold sleeve.

The Vinyl is in Very Good condition.  Glossy Vinyl and great audio. Surface marks and a few light scratches but plays as excellent. There is a tiny scratch at the end of Side 1 track 5 which produces some clicks and there is a small scratch at the beginning of Side 2 track 4 which produces some clicks.

The laminated gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+  condition. Mostly excellent with clean edges and clear spine text. Just a bit of light foxing on the spine. There are some small initials written on the top left of the top flipback tab on the inside of the gatefold and there is a number and a sticker on the right of the same flipback tab.

Both labels have initials written in dark pen which is not obtrusive on Side 1 although the writing goes through the yellow "Parlophone" text on Side 2. There is a sticker near the top of the Side 1 label.

The original poly-lined inner sleeve is in Excellent condition with no seam splits.

ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH AT LEAST TWO STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PROFESSIONAL PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.

Grading

I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion ans mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
