Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Very Good Minus (Quite a sharp and clear sound, some slight audible crackle throughout the tracks, some slight background noise in between tracks, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, there are some audible clicks per revolution at the start of track 3 on side 2 and some additional audible pops and clicks here and there throughout the record but they are quite scarce. Very Good Minus sound quality (Playtested 9th February 2019)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good Minus (there are quite a few superficial hairline surface marks and superficial scuffs on both sides of the record, there are around 7 or 8 more feelable deeper hairline marks on the record which do cause the clicks per revolution mentioned above, there may also some additional light paper traces from the the record being placed in and out of the inner sleeve under bright light, looks to have been played on many occasions by looking at spindle marks but it has been looked after and cared for reasonably well, labels are clean with no major rips/tears to the labels, there is some slight label wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the labels, overall a VG- copy visually)

Album Cover Grade: Very Good (all front corners are free from any major creasing, some light creasing to 2 of the 4 the rear corners, no spine splits apart from a tiny 1cm one on the bottom, a clearly legible spine, no top or bottom edge splits, there is some slight wear/rubbing to the spine but there is only very slight wear/rubbing to the top and bottom edges, no major rips or tears to the sleeve, some corner rubbing, some ring wear on the front and back that is noticeable, no laminate lifting or peeling that is serious, there is some writing on the front sleeve with the previous owners name written in small blue pen, the sleeve is clean and does not suffer from any serious discolouration/staining)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

GRADING SYSTEM BELOW

MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
