In this auction:

• “BEATLES ‘65” LP by the Beatles

• This LP is Apple Records ST 2228.

• This Beatles’ LP title was originally issued by Capitol Records December 15, 1964.

• This Apple Records reissue LP was produced from 1971-1975. We know this because:

  1) This LP is in a cardboard (NOT poster-board) cover with slicks pasted on.

  2) It is a Capitol-marked cover.

  3) It has the red RIAA Gold Record Award seal printed on the front cover.

  4) It has “Mfd. by Apple” printed on the uncut Apple label.

• The COVER of this Apple Record has the VERY UNCOMMON BLUE TINT. I have included an image of the original green “BEATLES ‘65” LP cover beside the cover of this blue-tinted Apple Records cover in this auction for comparison in cover color. (The green cover LP is not included in this auction.)

• There is no Capitol Pressing Plant number printed on the rear cover, but the vinyl has the Winchester pressing plant symbol in the trail-off wax.

• The COVER is in VERY NICE NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION. From the images you will see that there is virtually NO WEAR at all on the cover. There is only some very light/slight aging of the white rear cover near the opening. There is NO WEAR and NO FLAKING on the seams and spine: They are strong with NO SPLITS. And there is NO WEAR on the corners: they are nice and sharp. There is just one VERY TINY push on the bottom right corner.

• The VINYL is in VERY NICE NEAR MINT CONDITION.

  It’s a VERY NICE UNCOMMON COPY of this Beatles LP in GREAT CONDITION to add to your vinyl collection!
