THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This hard to find variant of 'Abbey Road' is a UK 1969 1st pressing on the dark green Apple Record label: PCS 7088.
Apart from the omission of 'Her Majesty', the side 2 label contains two other significant variations:
Firstly, in the text group positioned in the 9 o'clock position the '33 1/3' speed indicator is printed on the bottom line.
Secondly, the text group opposite has 'Stereo' and 'PCS 7088' separated by 'YEX 750' P 1969'.

Disc weight: 148g
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the rear side 1 track listing.

Both are clean & bright with a moderate amount of light spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean and bright but do display several surface marks and hairlines. In particular, side 1 has a slightly feelable 3cm mark but no other major blemishes. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals numerous wispy paper-type hairlines to both sides.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
This copy have received a moderate amount of play but apart from a little low-level background in some of the quieter passages, is without any major deterioration to the sound quality. My stylus jumped once in the side 2 run, but not on any music.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example which retains a clean, unscratched high-gloss laminate all round with just two or three 'thumbnails' towards the front opening edges, but no other significant signs of wear. All corners are free from any heavy bumps or bruising and both opening edges are sharp and undamaged. The rear panel is just a glossy and without any significant signs of wear. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean & fully worded.
