Description
I am selling this on behalf of my Mother-in-Law who has owned the album since its release in 1964.
This is the original pressing with the more collectible black and yellow Parlophone labels.
The sleeve is in really good condition with no holes or splits, all seals are intact and not peeling. There are a few creases but no ring wear and there is faint writing on the top right rear (shown in the pictures) showing the owner's nickname, which in my opinion gives the record a 'story'. There is light marking on the back cover and a few bubbles under the laminate on the front but nothing drastic for a 57 year old record.
The vinyl is warp free and glossy. There are a few light surface scratches visible on the lead out on both sides but these are not audible. The album plays flawlessly with no jumps, pops or scratches (light hissing on the lead in and out as expected).
I have tried to describe the condition as accurately as possible and the pictures hopefully show it as well. Some examples of this albumn on eBay and elsewhere are going for between £50 and £150 so grab yourself a real collector's bargain.
