Description

This is the original 1st Mono pressing of the classic Beatles album "Revolver" on the Parlophone label catalogue number PMC 7009. Matrix numbers, Side 1, YEX 605-1, Side 2, YEX 606-1. This is the very first and limited edition of this classic album having a different mix to the track "Tomorrow Never Knows". Not liked by John, this issue was quickly withdrawn and reissued with the more common mix on matrix 606-2. Lables have "Sold In UK" text and "The Gramaphone Company" rim. Both labels are very clean and undamaged in any way. Both display moderate spindle lines. The vinyl retains it's sheen and shows a number of light scuff lines and light needle lines each side. The album plays through very well with no jumps or sticks. The album is housed in the correct original white inner with "Patents Applied For" wording. The outer laminated sleeve is also in nice very good condition.
