Description
Own a piece of music history with this definitive 1966 Monophonic First Pressing of The Beach Boys' masterpiece, Pet Sounds.
This is the original "High Fidelity" monophonic microgroove recording (T-2458), produced, composed, and arranged by Brian Wilson. Unlike later "Duophonic" or Stereo reissues, this Mono pressing captures the lush, punchy, and introspective soundstage exactly as Wilson intended.
Why This Copy is Rare:
-
True Mono Pressing: Identifying marks include the T-2458 catalog number (Stereo versions are DT-2458).
-
Outstanding Condition: While most 1966 copies were played heavily, this specimen has been meticulously preserved. The vinyl retains its original "factory" gloss, and the audio is clear and powerful.
-
Made in the USA: Original US Capitol Records pressing with the classic "Rainbow" label.
