ITEM DESCRIPTION: 2nd STATE MONO BEATLES PASTE OVER BUTCHER COVER “YESTERDAY AND TODAY“

 

This album and cover is indeed an original 1966 MONO original of the BEATLES ALBUM, “YESTERDAY AND TODAY” (Capitol  T-2553), with the replacement “Trunk Cover” slick pasted over the original “Butcher Cover”.  This cover is still in wonderful excellent condition!!!  There is a taped piece of paper with a name written on it on the back top left and it looks like friendly aged scotch magic tape the should easily come off. I have decided not to try to remove it myself as it gave it character and did not take away from the clean square beautiful this masterpiece displays!!!   I would grade this copy in Excellent condition. It is a #6 pressing plant. Also of note, the slick is straight and square.


 The stunning True Excellent to Near Mint Minus, is one of the best I’ve ever seen.  The correctt goldenrod orange Capitol inner sleeve is straight and square, and in Excellent + condition.
