Description

Hello and welcome to my auction.
I have taken many pictures of this record as seen above.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers or LP jackets.
THE BEATLES.
RUBBER SOUL.
1965 PARLOPHONE STEREO 1st PRESSING UK LP - PCS 3075.
Factory Sample Label On Side 1, this is a very 1st pressing.
The Disc has very rare  G  / R 1 stampers, this is one of the 1st pressed!!!!!
YEX  178-2 / YEX 179-2 matrix numbers.
KT tax code on side 2 label.
The single letter early stampers G and the R are easy to find. Side 2 has a 1 stamping code that is pretty hard to spot. Side one looks to have no stamping code.
The Cover / VG condition. Garrod & Lofthose cover in solid condition with some small creases and a 1" scuff to the bottom.
The Record / VG- / VG condition. Some surface marks and light surface wear under halogen bulb. Side 1 has a more visible 1.5" surface scuff at the start of this side so I graded side 1 a very strict a VG- condition. The disc plays pretty well with Michelle playing less as this song has surface sound and crackle that can be an issue with Rubber Soul original pressings. As this record is graded VG- to VG it is far from perfect.
The Labels / VG+ condition. Decent labels with some spindle marks. The side 1 label has an original factory sample sticker.   The Inner Cover / VG condition. Original Emitex inner cover in decent condition. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
