Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: No...BUT VERY CLOSE...second pressing, but still a 1966 album...cover is first printing however: flipback cover: glossy laminated front; matt back...black and gold 'stereo' sticker folded around spine...mono and stereo catalogue numbers on back at top right...with black and silver 'BANNER STEREO' labels, with "LEEDS MUSIC" publishing credit (which is about 3mm. to the right of the same publishing credit on the first pressing - it's a very subtle and simple difference and is the ONLY label difference between first and second pressings)...the matrix numbers are another telling sign...on the first pressing they are: YEX 178-2 and YEX 179-2...and on this, they are: YEX 178-3 and YEX 179-3

CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG++ )...front is SO near mint, apart from a couple of small crinkles on the spine)...back has very light ringwear, and some equally minor foxing (very mild, light-brown 'age-ing' spots)...
RECORD: ( VG++ )...has some light marks - nothing heavy at all...and plays very well...with just a few light crackles only...a very nice copy...
LABELS: (Side One: EX / Side Two: M- )...
