*RUBBER SOUL* 'Stereo' 1st pressing - 1965
On offer here, is a Cover and Disc in truly outstanding condition
Matrix: Side 1: YEX 178-3 Stamper code: 1-GD Matrix: Side 2: YEX 179-3 Stamper code: 2-GD
Audio:

This disc delivers perfect audio throughout. I am happy to describe it as 'near mint', because even though it has been played, this has been on top equipment and the disc has been handled with great care. Track run-ins are near silent and even the easily damaged 'Michelle' sounds sublime.
Visually:

Stunning vinyl surfaces which appear near pristine. I can only see two very light handling lines on side 2, against reflected daylight. Side 1 looks perfect. Obviously, there are more wispy handling lines under a searchlight beam.

Perfect, vibrant text, with just a touch of age 'foxing'. Although fairly numerous, the spindle trails are confined to the centre ringed area and show that the disc has been placed onto the turntable with some care.
Cover:

Fantastic example, so hard to find like this. The front panel displays just a few handling wrinkles/thumb bends. All the corners are sharp and the pinched ends spine is perfect. The back panel is in amazing condition and is the 'whitest' I have ever seen (just look at the photos).
Inner sleeve:

Correct, rice paper lined original 'Made In England'. No splits or tears and apart from age related toning and creases, it is in perfect condition.
