Description

Artist:  THE BEATLES

Album:  THE COLLECTION # 6301 - 14 Albums + Artbook + Geo-Disc + Box

Vinyl condition:  All are in NM condition.  I inspected each one through a magnifying glass and couldn't find any scratches or nicks, etc.

Sleeve condition:  All are in excellent condition.

Artbook condition: Upon first glance this book looks good.  But as you'll see in the pictures, the white pages have stains on them.  I've tried to show the worst of them, but it's pretty much at least a small amount on all white/light colored pages.  The darker pages look good.  The book doesn't show any other usual damage like bent corners or torn pages or anything like that and you'd never even think there was damage at all at first glance, it's just something appears to have gotten on the pages and is visible on the light ones.

Geo-Disc condition: Excellent.

Box condition: Excellent.  No major nicks, dings, or scratches.  Clasp is in normal working order.

See photos for details and feel free to email with any questions.  Obviously eBay's allowance of 12 photos does not allow for a very thorough accounting of all that is in this auction.  If you need to see something more, please send a message and I can attach a specific photo in return.  Non-smoking home.  Free of odors.  This is limited edition # 6301

Additionally:  I inherited these from my uncle, who recently passed away--he was the original owner. He was a collector, I inherited several albums from him, and many look to have never been played. These Beatles albums also look brand new on the vinyl surface. I played one side of one album (Rubber Soul Side 2) on an Ion USB turntable. The albums had been stored in a house without AC in a humid climate, so yes, they were stored in a moist place. The stains on the pages of the book appear to be from some mildew. I gave all surfaces a thorough inspection and gentle wipe down. I inspected the album covers and the records themselves--they look to have been spared any signs of mildew or other damage. The albums do not look warped to me, and the one I played was not warped.

On a side note, the sound was SO clear that I think I could hear a Beatle slapping a free hand on his lap to keep time during "I'm Looking Through You".
