NO OFFERS PLEASE - AUCTION ONLY
================================================================It's up to you how you interpret what constitutes a 1st/2nd/3rd pressing, etc. You can decide for yourselfby looking at the photos and reading my description. This disc has 2/1 matrix endings and carries the darkest Apple labels, so for me, this is a true first pressing, which displays a rare side 2 label variation.====================================================================================That aside, this disc plays without fault in its entirety, which is so hard to find on any original vinyl record  ================================================================

THE DISC
Matrix: Side1: YEX 749-2      Stamper code: 4-RLOMatrix: Side2: YEX 750-1      Stamper code: 7-RHR
AUDIO - EX+
Surely the most important aspect of any vinyl record, is the sound it produces. Sound quality on this disc is wonderful. There are no unwanted intrusions and all tracks play without any pops, clicks, or crackle. Even the 20 second gap between the last two tracks is near silent, with nothing more than mild static. It would be hard to find any original vinyl L.P. that performs as well as this one.
VISUALLY - EX-
The glossy surfaces do display some light marks on side 1, more in keeping with a disc that has been laid down somewhere, rather than immediately returned to its inner sleeve after play. Side 2 is very similar but with a more visible, totally non-sounding scuff line.There are no heavy needle lines/scratches. Obviously, under a searchlight, there are numerous wispy, unavoidable, handling lines.
LABELS - EX-
The side 2 label is unique, and shows the running speed and catalogue number, removed from their place on the second line of text to their incorrect position on the bottom line. This is a setting error, as there was no matching side 1 label ever produced. Side 2 should have the same layout as side 1.I cannot see any obvious spindle trails on the side 2 label, and apart from a few stray trails on side 1, there are no others to see here, either.

THE COVER - VG
This example is in very good condition, for an original Abbey Road issue. There is a small area of laminate lift in the top left corner of the front panel. There are perimeter wrinkles, a few mild thumb bends, pressure lines and scuffs, mainly on the front panel.It is fully intact, with reasonably square corners. The thin spine is perfect.
=====================================================================================
THE INNER SLEEVE - VG-
In keeping with any first issue, this album comes with its genuine original, single die-cut paper inner. The soft paper used here is of poor quality and prone to tearing. This example has a few tears around the hole and also on the seams, where the disc has penetrated. It is still held together though, by the seams and isn't as badly creased as most.
