Description:

An original Animals’ 1965- 7 inch record Ep titled (Animal Tracks), in excellent condition.  A Columbia 45rpm record ep with excellent black and blue labels, with silver text writing and 4 prong push-out centre.  A first issue EP Demo Record with the Factory Sample Not for Sale label, record has the mothers/stampers 1-G on both sides, and the KT tax code on side 2 and stamped on both sides run off groove.  I have visually examined and play tested the record on a good quality record deck, the record has excellent audio sound quality performance... The front laminated record sleeve is in excellent condition. The labels are in excellent condition very little spindle wear.

Sleeve

The flip-back picture sleeve is in excellent condition front laminated sleeve, no writing very minor signs of wear for a 50’s years old record.

Labels

Columbia black & blue label with silver text, KT tax code stamped record side 2 and KT stamped on both sides on the run off grooves. The label has (Factory Sample Not for Sale Label) a demo record with mothers/stampers 1G on both sides, indicating first issue record. This is very rare record to find in this excellent to near mint condition. The labels have no writing and minor spiral tails on the 4 prong push out centre, an excellent condition label.

Record

Side: 1   Record has the factory sample not for sale sticker, original issue. The record has had light playing time use, only a few light minor spindle spirals. Record retains its excellent shiny black lustre condition, record has excellent audio sound quality performance.

Side: 2   The record has the same excellent condition as side 1, one very minor small paper mark on track 2 un-sounding very minor Like side 1 excellent. Seems to have had very light playing time use, comes with the same excellent condition audio sound performance.

In conclusion this is the opportunity to buy the rare Animals ep record is an excellent condition, a great example for a 50’s year old EP comes from a private collection, now selling to a discerning collector of collectable records from the halcyon days of the sixties.

The Record Grading

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...

NEAR MINT:  A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
